Chevrolet is electrifying its 2022 lineup with the refreshed 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EV and the all-new 2022 Bolt EUV. While these models have similar names, there are some key differences between the 2022 Chevy Bolt EV and the EUV. You can find both at Bill Cram Chevrolet in Seneca, Falls, New York.
The Bolt EV and EUV are built on the same architecture. However, the EUV has a different exterior design with more muscular sheet metal. It is also 6 inches longer than the Bolt EV and comes with sharp daytime running lamps.
These models do share a similar interior design. Though, each has its own unique details with differences in color and patterns. The EUV comes with three more inches of rear passenger legroom than the Bolt EV. It is also available with heated and ventilated front seats, while the Bolt EV does not offer these features.
One advanced feature that is only available in the Bolt EUV is Super Cruise. This technology allows the driver to have a hands-free driving experience on thousands of miles of highways across North America.
Both models share the same electric powertrain, a 65-kWh lithium-ion battery pack with a single 150-horsepower electric motor. The EPA-estimated driving range of the Bolt EV as 247 miles and the estimated range of the Bolt EUV is 259 miles.
